Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Dineri AI app (in any of its versions: mobile or web), the Neri assistant and the website dineri.ai (together, "Dineri" or "the service"). When you create your account you tick the box stating that you have read and accept them, together with the Privacy Policy · Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree, don't create an account or use the service.

This is an English translation. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Who provides the service

2. What Dineri is and isn't

Dineri helps you record your expenses, income, accounts and debts, build a budget, see how much you have left this month and simulate plans to pay off your debts. It does this with the information you enter.

• It is not a financial institution and is not supervised by Colombia's Financial Superintendence. It doesn't take deposits, lend money, make payments or transfers, or connect to your bank.
• It is not professional advice. Results (available balance, budget, amortization tables, interest, projections, simulations and calculators) are estimates based on the data you enter and general assumptions. They may differ from what your bank charges. Before signing a loan, refinancing or making an important decision, confirm the terms with the institution and, if needed, with an advisor.
• What Dineri shows about credit bureau reports (for example, Datacrédito) is informational. Official information comes from the bureaus and the reporting institutions.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and legally able to accept these terms.
• The details you sign up with (first and last names, alias and email) must be true, and you must keep them up to date.
• Your account is personal. Protect your password, passkeys and two-step verification code, and don't share them. If you think someone accessed your account, change your password and write to us.
• For security, only one session can be active at a time: signing in on another device ends the previous session. Sessions also end on their own after a period of inactivity.

4. Acceptable use

You may use Dineri to manage your personal or household finances. You may not:

• Use it for illegal activities, to deceive others or to manage other people's money without their permission.
• Enter other people's information without their authorization.
• Try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, test the service's security without our written authorization, or get around your plan's usage limits.
• Copy, decompile or resell the service, or use automated programs (bots, scraping) to use it.
• Overload or disrupt the service, or use Neri to generate illegal, offensive or harmful content.

5. Your information

The information you enter is yours. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the service, as explained in the Privacy Policy · Terms and Conditions, which is part of these terms. You are responsible for what you enter being correct: if a figure is wrong, the calculations will be too.

You can edit or delete your data at any time and delete your account in More → Delete account. Deletion is permanent.

6. Shared spaces

If you create or join a space, its members can see what is recorded in it. Only invite people you trust. The space owner decides who joins and can delete it with all its content. What you record in someone else's space stays in that space even if you leave it or delete your account.

7. Neri and artificial intelligence

• Neri runs on an AI model from a third-party provider (Anthropic) and only receives your data if you authorize it. You can withdraw permission in More → Privacy.
• AI can make mistakes: it can misunderstand a question, misread a receipt or give an incomplete answer. Review what Neri suggests before saving it and don't make important decisions based only on its answers.
• Each plan has a monthly Neri usage limit. If you reach it, you can use Neri again in the next period or by changing plans.

8. Plans, payments and cancellation

• Free plan: includes the tracking, budget and debt tools, and basic use of Neri.
• Paid plans (Plus and Pro): monthly subscription that expands Neri usage. The price is shown in the app, in your country's currency, before you confirm the purchase.
• Billing: on mobile, the subscription is bought and billed through your device's app store (App Store or Google Play). Dineri does not receive your payment details.
• Renewal: it renews automatically every month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
• Cancellation: from your phone's subscription settings. When you cancel, you keep the benefits until the end of the period already paid. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription: you must cancel it in the store.
• Refunds and withdrawal: handled by the store where you bought, under its policies, without prejudice to your rights under Colombia's Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011).
• Price changes: if we change a plan's price, we will let you know in advance. The new price applies from the next renewal, and the store will ask for your confirmation where the law or its rules require it.
• The special launch price for people who joined the waitlist is governed by the conditions announced at launch.

9. Website calculators

The calculators on dineri.ai are free, require no sign-up and run in your browser. Their results are approximate and informational, just like those in the app.

10. Intellectual property

The Dineri AI brand, logo, design, texts and software belong to its creator and are protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app while you have an account and comply with these terms. This license does not transfer any rights in the service to you.

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Dineri without any obligation to pay for them.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Dineri always running, but there may be interruptions for maintenance, provider outages or causes beyond our control. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove an important feature from a paid plan, we will let you know in advance.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Colombian law:

• Dineri is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that calculations, projections or Neri's answers are accurate or suitable for your situation.
• We are not liable for losses or financial decisions you make based on the service, for errors in the data you enter, or for interest, fees or reports applied by the institutions where you hold products.
• We are not liable for damage caused by access to your account by someone to whom you gave, or left within reach, your sign-in details.

None of the above limits your rights under the Consumer Statute or our liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence.

13. Suspension and account closure

You can stop using Dineri and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, that puts the security of the service or other people at risk, or when an authority orders it. Except in urgent cases or where the law prevents it, we will notify you by email beforehand and explain why.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the change is important, we will let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Dineri after that date, you accept the new version; if you don't agree, you can delete your account. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.

15. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, including Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute) and Law 527 of 1999 (e-commerce). If you have a complaint, write to us first at soporte@dineri.ai and we will look for a direct solution. If we can't reach an agreement, you can go to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (www.sic.gov.co) or the competent courts of Colombia.
